Hi colleagues and bloggers
As a consent student I would like to air my view on the frustrations I experienced during the presentation. As a district person I think my responsibility was not clear enough. I had sent Mr. Maseko a mail requesting clarity on what is expected of me. At least I thought I was at par with his deliberations on clarifying certain aspects.
To my dissappointment, as he indicated, during the last week before our presentation he provided us with additional support in my g-mail in order for me to be able to execute my activity in the group presentation. The only time I was able to access that particular mail was on the 14th August 2009, which was to me very unfair assessment.
Colleagues, I wonder what's your take on this matter?

I think we need to use all that we have to collaborate more. I frankly was also frustrated that i taught myself to mail merge reports only to be told it wasnot my responsiblity. I slept at 3 am and woke up at 5 am on the 15th. I also realised that we still have a lot to learn
ReplyDeletei think more should have been done to equip us with information, we almost spent three to four months in my group to design the web quest, which in the eleven hour, we were told was irrelevant if not correct.
ReplyDeleteWe had to spend 10hours in the eve of presentation to develop web quest but in the end we manage to put it together. To me it was frustrating may be the University needs to provide ICT department with tutors that will be available during the week. At some stage I was lost and asked Mr Maseko to clarify certain concept. He asked the house to respond to my Query and no one in the house could give a clear direction on the matter.
On the day of presentation, very few groups presented the web quest as if the world cup has happened already as was expected by the Lecture. But I must admit I learnt, will always be different to others
